Is the Idea of Asia and Europe being two separate Continents stem from racism or am i missing something?

Plate Tectonics.
By that logic india should be it's own continent since it's on it's own tectonic plate separate from the rest of asia.
That would also make Greenland part of north america instead of europe.

I actually don’t know anything about how that shyt works. It sounded right in my head though.
So everything west of the rockies should be it's own continent then? also people have long argued that the americas should be listed as one singular continent as well
One part racism, one part mountains, one part was established before we moved into the modern age. Now Eurasia is used more though, so it is changing.
I'm convinced this is indeed the case.
we were taught that there are 7 continents, but take away the eurocentricities in our education and there realistically are only 5.
