He's back to pre-Big 3 levels....but even with the big 3
1. he was never a scoring (never averaged 14 ppg or higher)
2. he's always been a bad free throw shooter
3. he's always been a bad shooter period
4. the ONLY thing that stood out with him is the high assists and when you play with the roster he had, it wasn't that hard.
Rondo needs to be surrounded by a lot of talent so
1. He doesn't have to worry about scoring
2. He can gamble on defense and get help on the back end so analysts and writers can rave about his "intangibles" and "heart"
3. He can get those assists
5. All of his weaknesses can be overlooked/hidden
