That's what I'm saying b. Like, I can casually hit 20+ in a row no problem. Only thing I'd be worried about is him shooting differently in a non-game setting. Maybe he gets REALLY nervous at the line during games or something.

In other words, he can't score/shoot to an acceptable level so you reach for these nonexistent qualities he doesn't have to make up for his deficiencies. It's the exact same thing a parent would do with their child that basically has very little hope in life.
