Is the LA nightlife considered top notch?

Afterparties are big in ANY party/downtown/alcohol/drug/club rat scene.....it's generally pretty sleazy all around, imo, though I've been to many, in crowded little lofts, and multiple bedroom penthouses, the level of desperation for sex obsessed douchebags, and their female counterparts, continually in search of the better party, the better apartment, the next drink, the next link, is visibly higher then in the club. Texts and 3:30 AM phone calls occur at an increasingly alarming rate, as men and women alike attempt to trade up for better options.

Lines are snorted, mdma consumed, drinks swallowed trying to ease the discomfort, and elevate draining levels of enthusiasm, as dawn approaches, and prospects limit. I am always reminded of 'Bright Lights Big Citys' opening passages, whenever I am foolish enough to be out in one of these gatherings these days.... Watching people follow the drugs and chance of sleeping with someone into the early light, convincing themselves they are special, they aren't pathetic, they aren't old...It's a shallow, vile, cheap world, with ugly people who look good.

That's a little dramatic, but I don't really fukk with the whole scene, I'm THERE, but I'm not...

and 9 times outta 10, they still working at Target, acting stuck up all cause they know that it's pretty much acceptable to be a broke bytch in the club...as long as she knows the right people.

they're quick to fire of a list of people they know, and who they grew up with and were cool with "before they got famous"

I wrote that in my initial response too but decided to edit it. They're not fooling anyone. I know mad chicks who work as bank tellers, secretaries and in retail that "have" to hit the club up every weekly and swear they be killing it. I remember when I hit up "the Vault" with one of my co-workers, she had no swag, couldn't dance, breathe stunk and her body looked horrendous in a dress. For some reason she always looked appealing at work. but at the club, while I'm tipsy and the thought of smashing never occurs,



I always run into chicks from the IE in the club. It blows my mind because it's like an hour away. At least they always come 5-7 deep and are DTF...

I almost considered a relationship with this Indian chick, but couldn't see myself making that drive.

imo the biggest diff between vegas and la is that vegas ppl are there stricktly to get hammard and forget stuff for the weekend... most girls are going their resigned to gettin laid or gettin hammard and no driving ala jus taxi...

nightlife in la is diff cause your prob going home or driving etc...

i know plenty of ppl that live in vegas that got sick of the 24 hour party cycle ... imo la has more sh1t to do so partying there is an accessory rather than the prime thing to do...

you can pretty much party in la 7 days a week ... vegas is a ghost town during the week unless is summer and even then nothing compared to la...

as far as usc or ucla.. thats mostly homegrown talent imo... a more accurate depiction of having fine girls come from all over are schools like arizona or arizona state..

but la nightlife is so vast from pasadena to hermosa beach to downtown la to hollywood to orange county... all you need is a car or a desginated driver and it can take you quite a while to be entertained with what la can offer at night...



as far as sd.. its smaller but imo the ppl there and the girls espeically are way chiller and not so stuck up... but nightlife san diego might not even be on par with orange county and no way is it seeing la...

This is what makes it top class as far as nightlife goes in my opinion. In most cities it's just one or two sections(like a downtown) where 'everything' nightlife related is located. In LA you got a myriad of selections: Hollywood, Downtown LA, Santa Monica, Silverlake, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Universal /Studio City, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Pasadena, Long Beach, Venice, Fullerton, Irvine, etc. etc. And on the flip side some people prefer everything to be in one center location than spread all about. But it works in your favor if you want to see a different crowd and new faces every now and then.

Hollywood is definitely a hassle no doubt about it. That's the main club center in LA. Guest list and who you know can come into play, but if you don't know anyone simply pull out a $20 dollar bill and you should be good Alot of the trendy r&b types and bad dimes are broke as fukk. Whatever you're into it can be found- clubs with rock music, r&b, alternative, live music venues, lounges, bars, restaurants, etc. Most spots close at 2am but some are open to 3-4am but the thing is they have to stop serving alcohol at 2am. There's numerous spots every single night.

But LA nightlife is top notch, pick the section you want to hang out at, have a car and some dough in your pocket and have at it

folks that live in the IE are used to driving out OC or LA, but a there is a considerable amount of IE girls that just wanna feel special cause they fukked/know somebody who's a "somebody" in LA.

but IE folks go to SD,and get treated like they the shyt for some reason.

ATL be having parties where party-goers tap out before it closes. shyt was cray when you see people entering parties at 3am. Plus a lot of the bytches are actually chill if you ain't the thirsty simp type.
