Anti climactic ending is what i hate most about this game... but the story and ganeplay is amazing

I was just playing last week when I had to fight the big blob looking thing for first time
For hours I was using the same tactics of blasting with shotgun(favorite weapon) with no luck
I hit him 8 times with no luck
Everytime I shot him he just ate it had this face on
I started running in circles for hours
I swear if YouTube didn't exist I wouldn't know how to finish games

Two nail bombs get rid of them, I don't think I ever had to even get close to them.

I loved the ending. It was so sudden and played with your known gaming conventions. You're not supposed to feel satisfied because you're supposed to feel like Ellie. Joel just lied to her, selfishly.

He betrayed her trust and humanity, against her will, and you're supposed to be unsure if she KNOWS that or doesn't.

Joel saved Ellie's life but he caused irreparable damage to their relationship. The last of us means a lots of things but think of how it applies to that ending.

It was the last of their journey as the "us vs the world".

I hate both escort games and sneaking games but The Last of Us is one of my favorite games ever. That should tell you something. Keep playing breh
