It's pointless to compare any struggles to each other because since the people struggling are different, the type of oppression they face and who their oppressors are can be different.
I know there's blacks who aren't homophobic and gays who aren't racist. I know some people might feel like since both groups have gotten so much shyt, they should have some kind of solidarity between each other, but it doesn't work like that in reality. That's why you have both blacks and gays who look at the other group and say "their struggle isn't similar to ours and we're not automatically friends because of our respective struggles."
Some examples:
If you're black, then gay white people could have been racist toward you.
If you're gay, then black people could have gay bashed you.
If you're a woman, than other women of different races or sexualities could have been discriminatory toward you.
Because of this, everyone isn't friends with everyone else because they're going through some shyt too. People in your group could have oppressed people in the other group, you all don't share the same struggle because the thing that you are struggling about, be it race, sex, or sexuality, is unique and has its own set of unique problems that the other groups don't have to deal with.
