That's like saying the chicken comes before the egg or vice versa...

Delivery is a bracket that includes timing, rhyming schemes, rhythm/cadence (flow), voice and visual appearance (videos and live performances)...

Since rap is vocal art based on swaying the crowd to your favour, delivery is the MOST important tool in a rapper's arsenal...Delivery is more important than lyricism...

Two guys can approach the same woman and tell her "Are you religious? Because you're the answer to all my prayers." and how the woman responds almost entirely hinges on the DELIVERY...

Basically, the average fan is a pretty girl waiting to be convinced that it is okay for her to drop her panties and let the rapper in...When a rapper is convincing with his delivery, the fans fall in love, and are ready to defend that rapper till kingdom come...

Some scientist needs to do a study on fanship and how closely it relates to love...

all im saying is that, if mainstream america was ready 4 mf doom, he couldve easily took off. MF Doom 2day would be huge if marketed right.

What song is that from? Just wondering since I haven't listened to a lot of Doom and those lyrics aren't showing anything on google.

I've never really been able to get into Doom, as mentioned already his delivery is awkward and he's just kind of boring to listen to. I do enjoy that My Favorite Ladies track though.



This isn't the exact same setup but it's similar.

I liked his beats more than his lyrics at first. He has a unorthodox style that sounds nice once it grows on you.
