There is no clear cut team to win the title this season and even the weaker teams are exciting and has up and coming talent. Are we entering a new exciting era?

The Heat are winning the tile again, the leagues so predictable and regular season so meaningless that they could give two shyts about playing hard till april

It is a great era for individual talent because even most of the worst teams have a star on there roster who makes them exciting to watch for some fans. The only thing I don't like about this era is there is not to much individualism now like there was back in the day. You don't see many games in a season now where cats are getting 50 and 60 points where back in the 80's 90's and 2000's with Kobe and AI it seemed like it happened monthly. I just want to see these guys go at each other on a one on one tip more often without worrying about matchups. But overall the game is probably as good as it's ever been.

Yes you had Magic, Bird, and Jordan.. But there were alot of bad teams in the 80's and 90's breh. I love those eras myself but the league now in these 2010's era is up there. Like others have said even the teams that aren't stacked to the rafters with talent are even fun to watch. You couldn't say shyt like that for the 80's and 90's. It was about the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Pistons, Knicks, Rockets and so forth. You rarely checked for anything else unless you lived in that particular city

I disagree.

Philadelphia had Dr. J/Moses/Barkley/Moe Cheeks/Andrew Toney
Denver had Fat Lever/Alex English and one of the highest scoring most exciting teams ever.
Dallas had Mark Aguirre/Rolando Blackman/Roy Tarpley/Detlef Schrempf/James Donaldson
Houston had Olajuwon/Ralph Sampson twin towers who beat L.A. in West Finals
Portland had Drexler/Porter/Kersey and a fun team
Golden State had Run-TMC & Manute Bol and scored a TON of points
Seattle had Shawn Kemp/Gary Payton/Tom Chambers/Xavier McDaniels and were pretty much fun to watch throughout the '80s and '90s
Phoenix had Tom Chambers and Kevin Johnson

I mean, pretty much all the teams were fun to watch except the Clippers in like the mid to late '80s.

It really wasn't until they added the expansion teams in the late '80s that shyt just over time got worst and worst until the late '90s where the NBA was just awful for like a decade.

Every team in the league besides Milwaukee has a star on it's roster. The league has never had it this good.

When was the NBA better overall than it is now?
