Is the NBA regular season boring to anybody else?

It just feels like a waste of time because it's so predictable. Only the Heat, Pacers, and Spurs have a realistic chance of winning the championship. The season should be shortened or 60 or 65 games. The playoffs are good, but the regular season is garbage and boring.

There's just no parity in the NBA, which is what sucks about it. With the MLB, NFL, and NHL, there's a good 10 teams in each league that have a good chance of winning it all. With the NBA, it's basically the Heat every year for the past 4 years.

I think the West is wide open this year and a ton of teams will be looking to trade veterans to anyone looking to contend.

NBA been predicaible forever

in the late 80s it was always the lakers/celtics/pistons
in the 90s it was always the bulls/knicks/jazz/rockets
early and late 2000s lakers

but its only a problem now?

its keeps me entertained, if not the games its the story-lines and drama through out the year, and reg season you can see a bottom feeder team pull a big win against a contender.

Your right, only 2-3 teams have a legit shot at the chip, but the season is still cool.
Checking on players developing; which prospects are making noise in college/international is interesting.

The Western conference keeps my interests becsuse the conference has a lot of good team. The East coast is just pathetic and boring.

I was just saying the other day to my boy: "Man, I wish all other sports were 1 day a week for16-20 weeks." Maybe it's just life catching up as we age and your tastes expand, but I can't fathom watching each & every knicks / rangers regular season game like i used to when i was a kid.
