Call me crazy, but I like some kinda NBA game being on almost every night during the season. Lots of teams to watch strictly to be entertained with a good game. I mean I dunno, its a lot better than watching some gay shyt like Love & Hip Hop. :ld:

But a lotta yall got the attention span of a goldfish, so I'll let yall tell it.

There's just no parity in the NBA, which is what sucks about it. With the MLB, NFL, and NHL, there's a good 10 teams in each league that have a good chance of winning it all. With the NBA, it's basically the Heat every year for the past 4 years.

with the nfl the playoffs are only best of one, and the superbowl is at a neutral location
with the nhl a team can ride a hot goalie
with baseball a team can ride hot pitching

in basketball the better team will win 99% of the time, if the first round was a best of 5 a team may steal a series

And another thing? Why the fukk do people care so much about parity in the NBA? Weren't there just threads saying the NFL got too many mediocre teams this year? I love that the NBA has its dynasties and power teams. Gives the title more prestige since it seldom changes hands, and it makes a new team winning all the more special. When Dallas won I was kinda happy for them even though it came at my teams expense, cuz I knew it meant a lot to them brehs. Can you imagine if Indy won it all this year? shyt would be nuts. We all have our opinion of the heats, but lets still appreciate the type of team they are. All time great teams are special to watch imo, not a bunch of aight teams.

NBA ain't NFL, so stop tryna make it conform to that.

:patrice: This season is boring as fukk so far. Only games I look forward to watching are Lakers games and I'm not even a Lakers fan :manny:

NBA playoffs are always great though, but it's the insanity and unpredictability of the NFL that has quickly made it a favorite of mine recently. I was always an NBA guy, but NFL is starting to interest me more lately

Dat 1 day per week, leave 'em salivating for more for 6 days schedule... :wow:

I like the best team winning every year. :yeshrug:

fukk it. I just like basketball. I don't need a reason to watch a game. I just love the sport. The Bucks and Jazz are the worst teams in the league right now. If they're the only two teams on, on a Tuesday, I'm probably watching. I don't need a storyline or an agenda.

All this shyt leads back to what I said awhile ago. nikkas just forgot how to be fans.

You wouldn't feel this way if you thought the Lakers would never win a title in your lifetime.

Don't watch. There are almost good games everyday. if you are a real fan, you don't mind regular season, I don't mind watching MIn vs Portland for example. New teams, young players improving, the Coli during games (Chi, NY, Mia, LA, etc..)
