i'll do a name change, just dont know how much its going to help really. you got a lot of people who hate to come out of TLR so dont know what we can do about that

theres a lot of existing trash in there from when we used to move troll threads there but we're hoping to phase that out and fill it with serious threads. it would be great if people actually posted new threads in there but we cant force people to do that.

as far as leaving threads in tlr before moving them...that just creates complaints - "why did you let this other thread stay and move mine" or "the thread was doing good in tlr" we need to be consistent or else it wont work

Well shyt there it is, move out the garbage, proper modding of it, we start posting quality threads in there and it's all good

I didn't post in there because it felt like a throw away section at the bottom of the site mixed in with buffoonery.

I think the TLR problem will solve itself once TRT is rebranded, it won't feel like a thread is gettin thrown away if you move it. Race baiting bushes and actual discussion in one section

problem is people more concerned with threads doing "numbers" than having quality discussion. seems like people would rather have their thread trolled and go plat than just post in the dedicated section for that topic

The problem isn't the current name. When you first made the race track I thought it was dope as fukk because it was a sports metaphor. But eventually TRT became the place troll threads ended up (you might not know about it, but the TLR mods sure as hell did). So when you move it to its own forum, and still kept that old name (along with all of the old shytty threads) no one is gonna forget what TRT is.

A lot of the problems is due to the moderation. I don't know these dudes history, but evidently @midwesthiphop is a garbage mod and @concise is a fukk boy.

And please continue with the bannings. I know you're probably getting flack from some of these demons, but let the purge continue

@cook where there is smoke there is fire, as someone who came from another board I'm sure you'll know that if 90% of board members (who are usually passive) are complaining about the same mod day in day out there is a problem.

You need to do something about @concise I understand we need a third TLR mod but he simply isn't well rounded enough to have good judgement on content.

Either get rid of him or find someone else because he is really beginning to affect user experience with his overzealousness.

I disagree with the name, peopel have associated TRT with garbage this whole time they won't just suddenly think of it in another way like that, you can tell by the way mods just dump threads in there serious or not.

this was done on purpose and it was a mistake. we were trying to please everyone at the beginning..we didnt delete shyt cuz we wanted to be this anti sohh site and honestly it was a lazy thing to do.

No dude listen. The only reason they're even responding to you is cuz it's easy peasy to just change the name and re-brand the sub.

The rest of us don't like the fact that we can now only talk about race related issues in that one small confine. That's not right. If this is a black site then we should be able to talk about black issues anywhere.

If someone's race trolling then yes, ban them or move the thread. But since when is race only pertinent in The Race Track.

This is bullshyt. They're gonna rename the sub and then act like they did us a favor, meanwhile theyre still moving any race related thread in there so the rest of the site is safe for cacs.

If your goal isn't to be an anti-sohh site then why elect a mod and allow them to remain despite users opposing to it ? The content of this site is contributed by users so their opinion should hold great value and if they're unhappy with something why not make changes, cook?
