Like I said those threads would have been moved to the Race Track and never seen again

I posted on Sohh from 2006-2012...there were race threads there...not as many as here...but then again the climate was completely different in the country and the world.

And shyt, I actually started posting on SOHH because it was nice to see a great black people talking about black issues...I used to post on UGHH back then and get called a n***** by posters and have racist sentiments thrown at me by mods...it was foul...but whatc an you expect from a hip-hop site based out of boston where the userbase is predominantly white? And even then, there wasn't a race track to throw all of those threads there.

You've got to expect ANY website with a large population of black users to talk about black issues....race impacts our daily lives so why should we feel shamed indirectly to talk about it?

Why do you expect us to just be joking and laughing and not paying attention to the world and matters pertaining to social/political/economic issues when black unemployment is still a troubling statistic, race issues are still rampant, cops are shooting unarmed black civilians like it's duck hunt, and the general fabirc of the world at large has been fraying at the sides in the last five years?

If all the race talk bothers you, fine...it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Don't complain about it.

I never said the moderation was perfect. I usually try to see it from both perspectives. I'm of the belief that it would be good to discuss race issues, especially on a site such as this where there are more Black people than the average site.

Even SOHH wasn't this bad in regards to race threads. I don't are how many mods try to get up in these threads to rationalize it...it looks really bad. And as far as it's concerned, the race track is a failure.

You can accuse people that make racial threads posts of "fishing for daps and rep" all you want, but the fact is if these problems didn't exist in our society people would have no reason to make these threads and posts. Do you think people want to make those threads and posts? No...

I thought the Coli was a place for black people to vent and discuss ideas helpful to our growth and development...naw...

It's like how @ModernFonzie said that positive hip-hop is dead cause of white people...obviously this site has a largely white viewership so anything regarding black issues has to be tucked away so they don't become uncomfortable by our reality.

Yep, the race track imo is lame and it's a way for this site to appeal to a more larger audience than just black people (mostly black men since many black women don't really involve deeply in race related issues that don't concern women).

I this thecoli is just scared of being too militant and appearing to be the home of the angry black man, this is why they move these threads to a seperate subforum.

Also race is more prevavent than every before, since Obama got elected cacs have been losing their minds, everything is negative towards black in AMerica as a whole, to push our issues to a small subforum to me isn't a good thing to do when the forum promotes hip-hop and mostly black dudes with papers are celebrities.

I can understand it as a business move but on a social scale it's quite unacceptable.

fyi st0rmfr0nt has had money issues for years, as big as they are, many don't stick around for more than a month or two... it's really only a handful of everyday posters on there so I think the coli doesn't want to attract the angry, the type to push away the repeat consumer.

Tranny threads, troll threads other dumb shyt get deleted and least in both of the subfourums I mod, when I catch them. Ask the poster "yup" who just made a random thread about white people smelling bad in the race track, thread deleted and a warning given, I don't play that shyt (same thing would have been done if they had made it about any other race)

Black bushes? That's the irony of this whole thing a subforum dedicated to talkin about black and other racial issues was created and it by far is the most disrespected subforum on the site
