It will fall off and then probably get back on that's logic people need to stop acting like hip hop some super divine shyt that'll last forever, south has an oversaturation of music and artists at some point it's gonna be impossible for anyone to succeed coming out of there and either a new sound comes from somewhere else that people like or somebody is gonna put their city on and open it's floodgates and that place will be on and so forth

The South can never Fall off because the South is the source of Modern African American culture which is the driving force of influencing all aspects of the Genre.

Blacks born in other cities started feeling themselves but every AA has fam in the South and at the end of the day the South is the origin of the customs these people have. People left the south and looked down on the Blacks who stayed and saw them as inferior when in reality man had the mindset of they have no reason to leave an area they built and would defend it by any means. NYC cats would always sh*t on the South yet Southern artists were 100% independent and NYC artists were selling their souls to white owned labels.

The South seems to dictate the trends in this genre and has been for awhile so the answer would be no. Even the whole Toronto movement right now was put on by the South. I mean I dislike most of the music out of Atlanta but I can call it like I see it.
