You buy the game but then they'll try to get you to buy season passes, characters, maps, skins, etc. There are fewer and fewer rewards for skill. Youre not unlocking meaningful content by playing the game with high degrees of skill and dedication you have to unlock it. Its not enough to pay to play online, they want to offer you tiers. You need to be a type of digital renter that doesn't truly own the game and has to keep paying to have access to it.
This kind of shyt will turn people off console gaming. Rockstar has the option to do the funniest thing ever and make GTA6 a classic type of game. We're talking tons of content to unlock, cheat codes, and a price of 50 usd for digital and 60usd for physical. Servers will crash, lineups will start to appear at brick and mortar stores and for a moment gaming will resemble what it was 20 years ago when San Andreas dropped.
