I’m in ohio and it’s fukked here.

They legalized it but the laws are so stupid all it’s done is bring a bunch of fake bad and overpriced weed to the state. Even street weed is fukked.

They only allow a couple farms to grow/sell so there’s no competition and no reason for them to do better. So the official legal dispensaries are full of overpriced mid bud.

Then in the other side of things fake weed(hemp) is totally deregulated so there’s a “smoke shop” on every corner selling that shyt. People don’t know the difference so they are going in these places and buying the fake weed. The cops can’t tell the difference so some of the “fake weed” places are selling real weed, but lord knows who they got it from or what’s actually in it.

Street sellers buying the fake weed putting it in a exotic bag and selling it to folks for a premium.

I grow my own and occasionally wil drive to michigan to get some if i run out.

The weed game is in a good spot from the consumer standpoint. You can get high for a reasonable price these days without feeling like you gotta sell the shyt to justify buying it.

Michigan is over saturated though. It's like the exact opposite issue as Ohio. For consumers, it's fantastic. But the game is gonna have to consolidate if it's gonna survive and that's basically a death knell to small shop owners.

I mostly just grow my own. Buy the carts/gummies etc from the dispensary.

or moving weight between tx and s. carolina because lbs of reg were 200-300 at home, and 1000 straight in sc for some bunk weed. the one good thing about the dro is that it kinda stabilized prices. went from 25 a gram most everywhere outside of cali, to where it is today. back in the day there was some wild fluctuations in price.
