Born and raised out here and I always laugh at the media and people from elsewhere who think L.A. is this big magic stick that will turned u into a star overnight and that L.A. is this big cash cow

Ask anyone south of Wilshire Blvd and natives and L.A. is just one big dump that we live and work hard every day to make ends meet to survive

L.A. get label phony and fake because of the transplants who moved here and assumed they need to act Hollywood....

Majority of these people and kids get turned out in Hollywood Hills by old white dudes and fake pimps and when they get used up it's back east or south to their hometown to get a regular job and escape the ridicule of L.A. they got branded themselves

I never heard of somebody moving to new york to become famous. That's like going to russia looking for freedom.

A gang of actors have and continue to do that. I think the ones that really have a passion for acting go there cuz NY has a strong theater scene, renown acting schools and of course Broadway. They get on there, make connects, land gigs, then move to LA once they start getting consistent work. It seems like most folks that go to LA are chasing fame, then wind up flaming out.

Yeah. L.A. was a dump when I was there. I mean nice weather but I seen a lot of weirdos and trashy areas.
