The refs are just on some bullshyt. I remember Tim Donaghy saying that the refs want to keep the games close to keep everyone's interest. They won't let a team get too far ahead and when teams do they start calling BS against a team that starts to pull away.

now apparently the league wants the pacers in the finals vs the spurs to give those horrible ratings
It's not very complicated. NBA most certainly wants the Heat in the Finals. They would also like for this to be a long series so that they can get every last ratings drop out of the Heat and keep this preset Finals date from looking any dumber than it already does. Best believe if the Heat were down 2-1 last night those last 3 fouls on Lebron don't get called. I am willing to bet that Mr. James won't be in foul trouble tomorrow night, no matter what he does.
just realize the finals starts next thursday. if miami would have won last night and won game 5. can the nba finals start earlier?

Ever since they moved to ABC they have had a set date for the Finals. I was actually hoping we would have two sweeps to highlight the stupidity.

or how about indiana was avg like 15k fans a game 25th in the nba, the fans werent relating to a bunch of nikkas. Suddenly the fieldhouse is looking like rik smits, dale davis, derrick mckey, miller, jackson, rose, travis best, croshere are out there.
now the indy market is back next year season tickets will go up 1-2k etc.
It's a tough call honestly. On one hand cause let's be honest Miami is a manufactured basketball team put together to sell tickets and to soak up any and all the money their "fans" will give them and their is a lot of other factors I think plays into it but trying to keep this short.

Butttt then here's where it's tough cause if there was one for them, Why let the Mavericks win the title outside of Dirk and Jason getting their first title, What's the story line? Dirk is one of my fav players and imo a Top 10 player of this era but with this Generation of fan LeBron and Wade are still considered the more popular players
