Is there a more annoying customer base than eBay?

Buy on Craigslist, sell on eBay.

That's always been my strategy. As long as you have nice looking stuff, you will always make a profit on eBay even after the 13% they take with eBay and PayPal fees.

I've bought several laptops (especially macbooks) at dirt cheap prices and sold on eBay for quick flips. I am more about speed than anything else, so trying to squeeze the most profit off each item will exhaust anyone.
Craigslist is the definition of a buyer's market. There's typically enough of any given thing there to keep prices low and even if there isn't people aren't willing to spend much so they'll wait you out. I've low balled people on Craigslist jokingly and had them contact me days later saying they'd accept the offer.

Put up a hot in-demand product or car and maybe you get fair value for it but put up let's say a high end 4K TV that's worth $2000 and you wouldn't even get $500 for it. On eBay you'd probably get closer to $1200.

Craigslist is simply for quick cash, I bought a macbook air 13" that was in a house fire that I was able to revive and made a quick $350 profit for what took me about 2 hours to clean up.

It's not a buyer or seller market. It's all about finding a sucker and I've found both. I sold a cargo van with a fukked up tranny that needed to be replaced. It would start slipping once it got warmed up. The cost of the repairs was more than what it was worth at that point so I wanted to get rid of it. I wanted $1800 for it. I put it on Craigslist for $3200. I made sure I only let people test drive after it sat for hours. One guy comes desperate for a cargo van. He said he would give me $2000 for it. He thought he beat me down but I got $200 more than I was looking for.

It's all about pricing it right. If you're desperate for money and willing to sell it fast below what it's worth that's YOUR problem. There are plenty of people willing to pay fair market value. The only people that will sell shyt for less than what it's worth are people who stole it or broke and about to have a utility cut off or about to be homeless.

I parked in another part of town fronting like I lived there and just waited for him. When he bought it We drove back to his spot. I drove the van and he drove his car. By the time we got to his spot the tranny was slipping like a bytch. Then I had him drop me off at the garden state mall where I was actually parked :troll: I told him I was meeting someone over there to pick me up.

Its a buyers market. You sold a car the rules are different for vehicles.

I've taken my ball and gone home plenty of times because I couldn't get fair market value for my items.

If push comes to shove I'll keep my Xbox One and just have two of them rather that sell it for $200. I'm not hard up for cash like many Craigslist sellers.

XBox? That's your problem right there. I look at an item then see how much I would get if I pawned it then add another 15%. A used Xbox is worthless. You would be stupid to pay $200. At the end of the day it really depends on what you're selling.
