Ain't hair in general a protection from cold or something? In my experience Africans hardly have facial hair, in CAR I don't really remember people having beards or whatever, even my older cousins, or they keep that shyt for years. My 100 % Centralafrican friends hardly have facial hair, while us mixed guys have facial hair that grows almost as fast as for white people.

facial hair is definitely a "caucasoid" trait though for lack of a better word. humans who were forced to live in cold or desert climates eventually got the ability to grow facial hair to protect them from the elements.

I don't think anyone is saying that Africans CANT grow facial hair, but I'd say that in my experience we grow less facial hair and at a slower rate. Like my grandfather died at damn near 80 and hardly ever had any

I agree that most Africans don't grow a sh*t ton of facial hair like Arabs or Europeans(though some Northeast Africans like Beja can), but a lot of posters on here were saying Africans can't and facial hair in AA's is primary due to European admixture which is BS.

And also one should note that in some African cultures they shave a lot, especially their hair.
