Is there a such thing as being too "picky"?

Or is the correlated to how much you have to give to your partner? To my older people, how much did you settle with your current s/o? Maybe being picky is a defence mechanism from getting into a relationship due to commitment issues?

I used to be really picky.. I had the ideal woman in my head and found myself setting myself up for disappoint with each relationship.

i dont think im picky but other than the essentials (loyal,nice,loving ect...) i require a very physical relationship. obviously not off the jump...itd be somethin we grew to when she was comfortable but shed have to be about it...my sex drive high as fuk...otherwise it wont work long term i rather be single

I think there is a such thing...I mean, if you pull out a list of 100 things that you have to have in a mate, then there MIGHT be a problem...but on the other hand, you shouldn't settle either..just be realistic

I mean there's a difference between reality and fantasy and many people just like the video i posted are living in a fantasy world.

now i don't see nothing wrong in terms of being picky in some things, but going overboard with it is ridiculous especially when u are not the same way
