It makes as much sense as the "are you sure you wanna dap this post?" option.
Yeah I wanna dap that post, that's why I hit "dap".
If we can do that, why can't we have a "are you sure you wanna receive this dap" option?

Let's look at an example:
Somebody says something you don't agree with and you call them out.
They say something greasy about you, and you go back and forth a couple posts...
then they give you a dap. What kind of sense does that make? I don't want that fugazi dap.
Same way I wouldn't do that in real life.
