Is there an R&B artist that has come out in the last 20 (35) years that is more gifted than R. Kelly???

Musical genius you say?

BBP6ekr.img

Guarantee this guy could make hits when he's 60+. Dude could probably make a top 10 Billboard song every decade the next 3-4 decades. A true musical genius. When its all said and done, I don't think there is another artist who can switch up sounds as easily. Literally almost has a hit in every single genre of popular music, including film scores. R. Kelly not fukking with Skateboard P on the production boards.

Honestly, Chris Brown was close except dude didn't have a chance to extract his full potential.

We saw glimpses of "what could have been" and it was through the roof, while we got all of R. Kelly's prime.

Imagine if that shyt didn't happen with Rihanna and rode that good guy image.

That follow up She Ain't You single would have pulled the MJ fans:

Beautiful People would have pulled all the EDM fans:

and Yeah x3 would have pulled more pop tunes.

That run would've taken dude's career through the stratosphere.

The fact that Chris Brown's career was somewhat salvaged goes to show how much talent that breh has. It might sound funny to say, but breh really did break white folks hearts because they messed with dude real heavy. A lot of folks had "Forever" as their wedding songs.

Some of these names yall are naming. :francis: They're nowhere in the same league as Kellz. Babyface is up there. Pharrell up there. Then there is a big chasm until the likes of D'Angelo, Bilal, Maxwell.

Chris Brown? Really? That whiny ass voice? More pop/crossover than R&B in my opinion. He's in the same vein as August Alsina, Trey Songz: that cookie cutter R&B.

:mjlol:

delusional r kelly stans

D'angelo taught himself how to play guitar (as an adult), how to patch synths like a 70s engineer, but he got arrested for a DUI and doesn't put out 20 versions of the same song talking about midgets in closets, so he has a mediocre work ethic. :mjlol:
3 albums in 25 years nikka? I can divide

That nikka is the definition of :flabbynsick: Lazy as fukk...
