I pitched into college. I tore my rotator cuff a couple of times. Strange, strange feeling. You can feel the torn tissue as you rotate your arm like mud flaps hitting your arm inside. Got out without elbow damage though.

It's crazy. A natural over hand throwing motion is a quarterback passing the football especially for distance and velocity that is unquestionably the natural movements. It's the same as throwing a javelin.

Major league level pitching is some completely other shyt...absolutely unnatural and it blows my mind when you look at a guy like Nolan Ryan who literally pitched in 3 different decades. Say what they want about Cal Ripken being the Iron Man or a guy like kareem with a long career...nothing compares to what Nolan Ryan did in his career.

He pitched in 4 different decades, 1966, 68-93.

nothing about pitching but more about injuries he's not out there pitching and going 6-8 innings or even complete games so less chance of injury/wear and tear which lead to the longevity of his career....he got hurt shaggin flies smh...but i doubt he will have lasting effects like most pitchers have when they retire
