Is there any album that you legitimately felt changed your life?

Illmatic- my first time listening to it was when Wayne was at his leak right before C3. It changes the way i viewed people who I thought could rap. It was pure skill and lyrics. It changed how I viewed hip hop.

Aquemini- It should be viewed better than what it was. It's the perfect alternative hip hop album. Thats how you push the boundaries of rap.

Any albums that you felt completely redirected your outlook on life and goals?

Jeezy came on in my shuffle and made me think about how Young Jeezy's TM101 honestly switched up my whole perspective on life in middle school. Like I really feel I would be a completely different dude without listening to that album.

I wouldn't call it "alternative" Big & Andre hell the whole Dungeon Fam are the Native Tounges/WU Tang of the South and since Organized Noise was a live band they had a lil more funk/soul to the spits

The Black Album will always be important to me. I was cleaning out my apartment, gettin' ready to move out of my city for the 1st time in my 24 yrs on this earth. Columbus, Ohio was the destination, but closing that door to my apartment for the last time, all i could hear was "maybe you'll love me when i fade to black":mjcry:

Another album is The Minstrel Show. I loved them nikkaz because they talk about shyt i relate to. The song "All For You" hit too close to home. "So the next time it's late at night, and I'm laid up wit the woman im gon make my wife, thinkin bout how we gon' make a life, I'm thinkin bout child support, alimony, visitation rights":wow:

Dope thread btw

You're right. Thats exactly what it is. That funk and soul does something to your spirit bro.
