If you got a good work ethic and studied you should be in there like swim wear. Hope you land this one. If not DM me
Hopefully, I appreciate it.

This is basically everything I have to study for the electrical and mechanical portion of the test

It’s a lot but I already know like 80% of it. It’s mostly just brushing up on it. Plus I don’t think the test gonna get too in depth they probably just want baseline knowledge

I worked for an elevator company for years. Not physically fixing them, but on the support/finance side. It’s dangerous job mainly because of careless on the workers part as we would get emails all of the time of deaths that occurred here in the US and other countries. It’s also very difficult as some elevators are really and it’s a matter of looking at the layouts to make the new parts fit.

You’re always on call and always having to travel and fix them.
Yeah I seen multiple videos of dudes dying from elevators. One guy carelessly walking into the elevator while dude was working on it and another from the dude above lol

One in particular I remember off the top of my head is that one guy got electrocuted as he was trying to reach for his keys that he had left on the elevator shaft. There was also one were dude got crushed by an elevator because of the carelessness of someone else that caused it to fall. The stories are fukked up but rather hilarious as it would always remind me of the show 1000 ways to die with how it would happen. The interesting thing about it is that it was the veteran elevator workers who were the ones being careless instead of the people new to the industry.

That makes sense when you think about it. The older veterans have been doing it for a while and more comfortable so they become careless while the newer ones are trying to make an impression so they try harder to not make any mistakes
