WHY?

Also biracial just means two different racial backgrounds. A child of a Black parent and a half/half parent is technically biracial.

Is this a troll thread or serious?

:what:

nicca it’s serious

Again

“What percentage of opportunities meant for blacks are going to people with a white parent?”

A lot. We’re slowly being replaced by people who aren’t really black.

Halle Berry for example.. she gets labeled as one of the most beautiful black women ever, plays black women roles like storm, yet she has a white mother. shyt is sickening when you think about it.

Are we talking someone like a Jordan Peele who is or someone like a Steph Curry who ain't? :patrice:

All jokes aside, you can't really gauge something like this. That's like saying Mariah Carey took the spotlight and opportunity away from someone darker who was equally as talented. Bytch where?

Turning on yourself with this line of thinking.
I can understand people rallying along ethnic/nationality lines, but in this country how could you reasonably close ranks along two (fully) Black parents vs others?

Coach Herm Edwards worked under the LEGENDARY Coach Tony Dungy.Dungy's coaching tree speaks for itself. Edwards getting the opportunity to interview for the Jets job was probably because of the Rooney rule.
Again, Dungy groomed several talented guys who went on to coaching success, so it was Edwards' talent and ability that GOT him the Jets job.

Are you saying that Herm Edwards' German mother should have disqualified him from being considered a Black candidate for the job under the Rooney rules?

I'm not trying to engage in a smilie war, but I want to see how far you've thought this out.

I’m simply asking what percentage of opportunities meant for blacks are going to people with a white parent

I never said anyone should be disqualified from anything, I just asked if anyone had some data

It is tough to gauge but I’m talking about stuff like 9-5 jobs, government contracts, education, etc

Not celebrity stuff

Also from an appearance stand point in their youth many would.think.Dungy was the mixed black person and not Herman Edwards.

There are many black people who have 2 black parents but look mixed and black people with just one black parent and don't look mixed.

Yes I’m differentiating between blacks (2 black parents) and biracials

any data on what percentage of opportunities meant* for blacks are going to biracials instead?
Sadly no. Depending on the advantage many biracials will check the black box if it serves them.

That distinction really doesn't make sense on any diasporan population. Alot of the black people in the islands, states, and south America are 15-40% white as is. At some point the distinction becomes arbitrary(even if its not meant to be divisive).

The only black people that can even attempt that distinction are the black people on the continent. But even they have significant mixing(Angola royal family/dictatorship, Congolese rape, SouthAfrican swirling, etc)

This thread is definitely going in the bushes:wow:
