Is there any data on what percentage of opportunities meant for blacks go to biracials?

Sadly no. Depending on the advantage many biracials will check the black box if it serves them.
Breh... When it serves them?

I'm not understanding this attempt to test biracials as something to be suspicious of.

How are biracial people, who identify with being be black, and who are rested as black by everyone in some way different?

Also, when does biracial begin to negate a person's claim to being black?

------------------

Hypothetical:

Person A: Product of two black parents

Person B: Product of a Black parent and white parent

Persons A & B have a child.

Is the child black or not?

In order for us to have these discussions...we need to be on the same understanding. OP, thoughts? @Houston911 @Coronavirus

“WHAT PERCENTAGE OF OPPORTUNITIES MEANT FOR BLACKS ARE GOING TO PEOPLE WHO CAME OUT OF A WHITE WOMANS VAGINA OR A WHITE MANS NUT SACK”

not looking for no 23andme ancestry breakdown

This breh below summed it up perfectly. My point was that its an arbitrary distinction that no one bothers to keep track of. Its like asking, "how many left-handed, brehs with freckles got masters degree last year?"

Aint no one gonna give you an answer to that
Thread does not makes sense seeing that America has never had a biracial class.

if someone has a legit black parent and a mixed parent I’m cool with them being classified as black

If you have a straight up white parent you should be classed as mixed

if you’re like drake or Paula Patton - mixed and have a kid with a white person, that child should be considered white and have ZERO access to any programs meant to help blacks

You do know that the concept of "black" and what it meant and what it was designed for wasn't an invention that us "black" people had ANY input in, right?

Race is purely a European invention meant to justify subjugating and oppressing groups of people who happen to have recent ancestry from Africa...

Malcolm X's "mixed" mother...product of a rape by a white man... Was considered black. Imagine people looking at her as a person who shouldn't be black.

Bob Marley's father was white. Are we really trying to just dismiss him , too?

Being BLACK in the context of our society has WAY more to do with perception, circumstance and treatment than many other things.

This thread may have had an innocent intention but I respectfully think it's divisive as hell

And I respectfully think in 2020 people with 2 black parents should be given preference over someone with a white parent if we’re talking about programs meant to level the playing field

Goofy thread. If they're taking advantage of opportunities meant for black people (whatever that's supposed to mean) then obviously they're classifying themselves as black to get said opportunity. No one is going to come to them later on and ask for clarification on some "you sure you're all the way black?" Shyt. There's no way to get an answer to your question

Okay.

If you believe that a public mandate or a goal for "black" people to get on code by using energy to sniff out and label their mixed black peers, friend and family as "other" would be somehow a strengthening strategy for us as a discriminated against group...

You got it, breh.

You get last word if you want.

I respectfully disagree.

on what planet does it make sense for someone with a white parent, a parent who is a beneficiary of white supremacy, to have equal access to programs meant to help blacks?

nah, y’all are just too confused and lost to see it

Paula Patton calls herself a “black woman”

she gets with a white man and they have a “black son”

Not "too confused and lost". I said "whatever that's supposed to mean" because you want such specific distinctions to be made based on circumstances like that. The child you posted in that picture is not the same as a Bob Marley, Barack Obama, or a J Cole. But you got caught up in that part of my post. How you feel about it is your business.

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO FIND THIS DATA BECAUSE IT DOESN'T EXIST. If they're checking the black box then the data isn't going to know whether they have a white parent or not.

Above the fray.
Also from an appearance stand point in their youth many would.think.Dungy was the mixed black person and not Herman Edwards.

There are many black people who have 2 black parents but look mixed and black people with just one black parent and don't look mixed.
Agree.

sort of related

George Jefferson use to scream on "biracial" Jenny and call her a zebra.

If you asked 100 people who never watched the show to look at this photo and to pick out the actor playing the biracial character, I'm sure at least 99 would point to Mr. J.

*watched recent episode and realized that Jenny was bad as hell.
