They could be down for the cause and acknowledge how their biracial background is advantageous to their navigation of this white supremacist society, but that still doesn't negate OP's point that their ambiguity lets them be used as pawns in the effort to limit the mobility of actual black men and women.I somewhat agree, but if that biracial person is like a J Cole or a Bob Marley that was down for the black cause, are their efforts in vein?
But people always assumed that I was biracial cause I'm light skinned with nappy hair and my pops looks damn near white, but he always called himself black and his parents look damn near white, but they racially black too.
no one who is countering op is a pawger. just calling out dumb shyt

Ok, so, is what you’re saying mutually exclusive from the point @Houston911 is making?no one who is countering op is a pawger. just calling out dumb shyt
This thread only has merit if we are talking about NonAdos Biracials meaning ones like Alicia Keys, Tinashe, Demetria Obilor etc that have a nonados parent and a nonblack one.
but if this is about ADOS biracials this is stupid. as they are ADOS, and alot of them identify as ADOS.
if this entire topic is built on who has privledge and who is used as pawns. Then you dont have to stop at biracial ados people with pirvledge you can look at gender privledge(BW more likely to get hired) class privledges, sexual privledge(gay nikkas more likely to get hired)
you can keep goin until you get to Straight ADOS BM who are really the least privileged![]()
Some black people, mainly black women, have been pushing this thing online that biracials are replacing black people and believe that biracials are purposefully doing so and are pushing shyt like this against them. Sometimes mods here try too hard/are dumb as fukk.Breh... When it serves them?
I'm not understanding this attempt to test biracials as something to be suspicious of.
How are biracial people, who identify with being be black, and who are rested as black by everyone in some way different?
Also, when does biracial begin to negate a person's claim to being black?
------------------
Hypothetical:
Person A: Product of two black parents
Person B: Product of a Black parent and white parent
Persons A & B have a child.
Is the child black or not?
In order for us to have these discussions...we need to be on the same understanding. OP, thoughts? @Houston911 @Coronavirus

So, an employer who has two choices - a breh and a biracial - isn’t more likely to chooae the biracial? Really? It’s false idea that biracial/light skin people have favor with whites.
The reality is the favor is with in our communities.

No because altho yes biracials can get preferential treatment that does not erase who they are as ADOS Black people espescially if they so choose to identify as such and are treated as black. So pointing at "well their privledged" as a reason to try to take away their ADOS heritage and right is not sound or logical espescially when we look at the fact
Who is trying to erase their ADOS heritage? I don’t think OP was denying that half of their ancestry can be traced to ADOS. Does that negate the fact that the remaining half of their ancestry, their tie to whiteness, confers a benefit that black brehs don’t enjoy? Not sure where we are disagreeing. No because altho yes biracials can get preferential treatment that does not erase who they are as ADOS Black people espescially if they so choose to identify as such and are treated as black. That Biracials are not the only type of ADOS people who can be considered privleged in our community everyone from gay nikkas, to classes of ADOS, to BW even have privileges and get preferential treatment over some others in our communtiy
if we were to apply that being privilege lessens your right to programs. Then that applies to everybody who isnt a lower class straight ADOS Black man.
and im pretty sure alot of you coli nikkas aint gon want a pecking order of who gets treated first in this reparations program because that would mean some of yall who claim to be middle to higher class gon have to take a backseat![]()
That benefit of lightskin that can be found amongst other blacks with 2 parents that are of that skintone. Plus I just said that lightskins can have a one up compared to others im not denying that.Who is trying to erase their ADOS heritage? the disagreement is on you guys saying they are being used as pawns, if they are AA and identify as black there is no being used as pawns(whatever that means) that is their right to use it being ados
Could systems and entities use them for sinister reasons yes, but thats not exclusive to them thats ADOS people in general that can be used like that.
