Is there any data on what percentage of opportunities meant for blacks go to biracials?

For sexuality purposes, this is true. For the longest time, we made Halle Berry the prototype of the black woman, despite her crazy azz having a white mama.

Let’s be real Halle gets called less black Only because some black female jealousy/insecurity.

Are we talking someone like a Jordan Peele who is or someone like a Steph Curry who ain't? :patrice:

All jokes aside, you can't really gauge something like this. That's like saying Mariah Carey took the spotlight and opportunity away from someone darker who was equally as talented. Bytch where?

That's a damn good point.

You've got light skinned brehs like Tom Joyner and Steph Curry with two black parents......and then darker skinned biracials with a black parent and white parent like Bob Marley or Barack Obama.

Then you have people that are 1/4 white like Dave Chappelle or Zeke Elliott that don't seem particularly "white" yet carry a really high %.

A lot. We’re slowly being replaced by people who aren’t really black.

Halle Berry for example.. she gets labeled as one of the most beautiful black women ever, plays black women roles like storm, yet she has a white mother. shyt is sickening when you think about it.

at any point in your life, if you didnt know Halle Berry was bi-racial, would you think anything about her is white??? :unimpressed:

Your dreams
It’s false idea that biracial/light skin people have favor with whites.
The reality is the favor is with in our communities.

Most black people don't like to hear this.

For people I know in real life - very very few biracials who actively care about their "biracialness"

Its 'some' full black ones who I have found to be hung up on it.

OP's question is legit but people are going to act brand new and act like they do not know what op means.

But it is a difficult question. As @Will Ross said its difficult coz of the "one drop" rule there has never been a "biracial class". One drop of black blood and you were considered black. Then other "black people" would 'elevate' you
To the top tier of blackness. I'd wager for many biracials esp thise who look full black it was the same as being full black.

So with rapes in slavery and swirling over the years, its both an easy and a hard queation to answer depending on how you look at it.

I get the thought here, but most biracials in the US have almost the same social experience as fully black Americans. You could make the argument that biracial children may have a leg up if the white parent is present through the privilege that the white or racial other parent might have.

To answer the question, I don't think there is data on this. I can't think of too many studies or reports that show who wasn't the recipient of something. Your best bet is to look at the racial makeup of all recipients applying to a particular opportunity and the acceptance rate; for instance college admissions demographics. But even then, a lot of biracials identify as black, because socially that's how they were treated.

they date out more, and that number rises the more educated they are

so if they were to benefit from a program meant for blacks the odds of them becoming a stage 2 future Caucasian increases

Are we talking about dating preferences or the beneficiaries of social programs and hiring initiatives?

This study pulled 1200 profiles from match.com and it's not even certain if the subjects willingly participated or if this was a blind study.

I'm assuming it's a blind study because they only pulled 1200 profiles when Match has millions of users. If it's a blind study using only the data provided, the extrapolation is probably skewed because we know most men on online dating tend to cast the widest net possible, and women tend to put an extremely narrow set of requirements.

It's not about them being light skinned :dahell:

It's about the fact that half of their family has benefitted from white supremacy for however long they've been in America
Yes it is, thats literally for many the only way they benefit. You nikkas are idiotic if you think all Biracials have a Obama type past.

and what does that have to do with them where because of how they look and their ados ancestry they likely wont benefit from that shyt and experience and identify wise they lean black.

If you can't understand the concept of

HALF OF THEIR FAMILY HAS BENEFITTED FROM WHITE SUPREMACY DURING THEIR ENTIRE TIME IN AMERICA

Then you're just a basic, stuck on stupid ass niccas
