The one thing I just heard about that they might actually pass would be a big Internet privacy bill. Some sort of EU-like restrictions. Both conservatives and liberals are heated about what companies have been doing with people's data.

Just think: what did they pass before the ACA?

Congress has not passed anything in almost 2 generations. Congress has shirked their responsibilities for nearly 40 years, and have forfeited it to the executive and judicial branch.

The next time democrats control all branches they better be prepared to have some fun.

They passed a ton of stuff in the first term of the Bush era - Patriot Act, Tax Cuts, Iraq War Approval, No Child Left Behind, and the huge Medicare Bill.

There were always 5-6 democrats willing to go along with Republicans on dumb shyt back then, and even more who weren't stopping the filibuster.

The Democrats should not help or negotiate the passage of any major bills because it will only help Donald Trump, not the Democrats.

When you think about it, other than trying to tear down everything Obama did, what did Trump and the republicans actually do for two years?

The only bill that I can think of is the tax cut for the rich.
