Is there any logical reason to own a XboxOne?

$500 is not a lot of money but $400 is even less than that for essentially a better product

so I don't understand your logic
Having both an Xbox One and a PS4 I can honestly say at least at this point the Xbox One is the better console. the Xbox One has:

better voice commands on the camera.
better extra features
a better user interface
a more reliable online network
better exclusive games (at the moment)
better WiFi (has dual band WiFi on it)
better controller with better battery life
comes with a better headset and the included Kinect works well as a mic.

on the minus side the graphics are inferior but I would also say the Xbox One reaches the good enough threshold meaning the PS4's graphics aren't so much better than the Xbox One's at this point to really matter.

now if all you care about is buying a box to play games most of that stuff is expendable and the PS4 is obviously the best value. if you want the best console right now that's the Xbox One. if you want the best value right now that's the PS4.

Honestly didn't care for the Ones interface organization. Also the voice commands aren't as flexible as say an Android or iPhone. As a fighting game fan, I did like that killer instinct tho

better extra features opinion but sure, why not
a better user interface opinion but sure, why not
a more reliable online network ive had no problems with psn. downloaded full games in less than an hr, the network is fast
better exclusive games (at the moment) sure, but we know sony has the better titles
better WiFi (has dual band WiFi on it) once again, no problems with my wifi
better controller with better battery life better battery life, sure, but better controller? :dead: fukk no
comes with a better headset and the included Kinect works well as a mic. better headset, sure. once again, most ps4 gamers dont want kinect.

on the minus side the graphics are inferior but I would also say the Xbox One reaches the good enough threshold meaning the PS4's graphics aren't so much better than the Xbox One's at this point to really matter.

keywords being "at this point"

we'll be able to see the xbox 1 limitations pretty early into this console cycle. i give larrybox a good 2 yrs before they max out completely.

well now you're trying to change the definition of gaming console. "oh, if all you care about are games, go get that box over there" :heh: sorry breh but this shyt has and always will be about the games. if M$ isnt bringing the best exclusives and graphics to the table, they are automatically placed in the number 2 spot. xbox can add all the bells and whistles to polish up a terd, but w/inferior multiplats AND exclusives, they are not going to survive the long haul.

@marcuz You love to talk a lot of shyt. He has valid points. Your opinion does equal fact. The X1 is a excellent game console as well as the PS4. FYI some of the best gaming systems where not the most powerful of their gen.

I never saw the appeal of xbox when looking at the exclusives. I think the people that got a X1 is due to the 360's success and thinking its gonna carry over.
IMO, it looks like we may be coming to another PS2-like era from Sony, but who knows for sure.
It does seem like the developers are pleased with the PS4, tho.

you wanting the camera or not you wanting the voice commands are not is irrelevant to them still being better on Xbox One.
better extra features opinion but sure, why not
a better user interface opinion but sure, why not
that's not an opinion. I can use an Xbox One to stream content from a Windows PC on my network. I can snap in the NFL app and check up on scores during games or snap in my TV and check up on something right quick and go right back into my game. The bottom line is you can do more on an Xbox One and you have more options on how you wanna do it.
a more reliable online network ive had no problems with psn. downloaded full games in less than an hr, the network is fast
the day I bought my PS4 couldn't log on to PSN. just a couple days ago again I had issues login into PSN. hell they shut down code redemption for over 24 hours because they had a sale on codes and people bought them and were redeeming them and the network couldn't handle it. I've never been booted off live on Xbox One. never had an issue loging on or redeeming codes. to my knowledge Xbox Live hasn't gone down at all since Xbox One launched.
better exclusive games (at the moment) sure, but we know sony has the better titles
i'm talking about reality not what may potentially happen. i'm simply judging both systems as they are right now.
better WiFi (has dual band WiFi on it) once again, no problems with my wifi
well there's a problem with my WiFi. My router is a dual band and has a 5Ghz Network and my PS4 can't see or access it. Internal to the network the speeds on the 5Ghz network are way better and the neighboring routers don't crowd up the band because many people don't have dual band routers but it half doesn't matter cause you can't stream shyt to a PS4 anyway.
better controller with better battery life better battery life, sure, but better controller? :dead: fukk no
analog stick layout is better on the Xbox One controller. triggers are also better. you also don't have to charge the controller every few days.
comes with a better headset and the included Kinect works well as a mic. better headset, sure. once again, most ps4 gamers dont want kinect.
i didn't want it either until i plugged it up and used it. has its flaws but the extra features it adds are nice and i've grown accustom to them and prefer them now.

on the minus side the graphics are inferior but I would also say the Xbox One reaches the good enough threshold meaning the PS4's graphics aren't so much better than the Xbox One's at this point to really matter.

meanwhile third party developers that have worked with both consoles have gone on record as saying the difference between the two isn't that substantial.

No major power differences and Xbox One easier to develop for. Is the PS4 more powerful? Yeah it is a major difference? No we're not talking Wii U vs PS4 here.

back when the SNES came out all a console was basically is a box you plug up and play games. people do more things on a console than just play games now.

even judging them off games you're going off into hypothetical stuff that has yet to happen. we know Sony has the better games? do we? the future you're talking about where Sony overtakes Microsoft with better quality games may never come and is not guaranteed to happen.

i'm simply judging both these boxes as they are right now. the Xbox One right now is the better box. it does more things than the PS4 and outside of graphics which are marginal at this point all the things they both do in common the Xbox One does better. it also has a wider variety of exclusive games right now.

i'm not saying none of this can change what i'm saying is this is the reality of the situation and all that hypothetical and potential stuff you're talking doesn't matter till it happens if it ever does.

you can go into the main xbl thread and see ppl complaining about connection issues.

the consoles haven't even been out for a month. and our ftp games rate higher than most of xb1 exclusives (see: dc universe)

analog stick layout is better on the Xbox One controller. triggers are also better. you also don't have to charge the controller every few days.

xbox 1 controller is outdated, lacks innovation, and some how feels cheaper than the xbox 360 controller. ds4 may drain quick but the design is near flawless. you can have your opinions on analog stick but i've always prefered the current layout. not to mention the touchscreen and speakers (which i thought would be stupid but is actually pretty nice)

so most other devs have stated it's easier to program for ps4, so you find the one exception as if it's the rule? :heh:

No major power differences and Xbox One easier to develop for. Is the PS4 more powerful? Yeah it is a major difference? No we're not talking Wii U vs PS4 here.

once again, making the exception the rule. 1 dev saying larrybox is easier to program for vs how many other other devs?

once again, the consoles have been out less than a month :what: the ps3/360 generation already proved sony is killing microsoft in exclusives. xbots were literally lift gameless for almost 3 yrs. xbots cant even think of an exclusive on 360 worth a shyt w/o mentioning halo and gears. i can rest easy knowing sony has 4 generations of gaming franchises under their belt. xbots have to resort to whining about ryse not being compared to uncharted.

i'm simply judging both these boxes as they are right now. the Xbox One right now is the better box. it does more things than the PS4 and outside of graphics which are marginal at this point all the things they both do in common the Xbox One does better. it also has a wider variety of exclusive games right now.

the xbox one has ryse, killer instinct, forza and dead rising. these are mostly subpar games that were rushed out the gate. however, doesnt really matter when the majority of xbots are playing multiplatform games; all of which, plays better on ps4  so yeah, i'm content with sony holding off on rushing games out the door. this is the difference between our exclusives and your exclusives, sony has quality control.

i'm not saying none of this can change what i'm saying is this is the reality of the situation and all that hypothetical and potential stuff you're talking doesn't matter till it happens if it ever does.

once again, the systems have been out less than a month. if you think sony releasing a plethora of superior games is a hypothetical, you're either being purposely dishonest or you're retarded. sony has twice as many studios developing games than microsoft.

and i didn't buy my console for launch titles. i had similar arguments during the 360/ps3 era. look how that turned out. ps3 destroyed 360 in exclusive gaming titles. i mean there's a reason why a lot of 360 users decided to go w/ps4 this time around. even xbots want to get on what they missed last generation.

Intermittent problems experinced by some users is not the same as the entire servic being down multiple times over the last 3 weeks.

Four year old ps3 games are the best games on ps4 :wow:

The best controller, got better. And it's the ds4 that's made cheaply, I know you've seen people's thumb sticks wearing down already.

Not one dev said that. Rekka said that and y'all started repeating him.

Once again that's a rekka talking point, not reality. In reality since day one, devs have been saying there isn't much of a difference.

Cool story bro. Xbox has quality exclusives now and will have them later.

Ours? Yours? Do you work for Sony?

And no, most x1 owners are playing the exclusive games and enjoying the system, as opposed to complaining about not having games and selling their systems.

And :dead: at creating excuses for the fact that ps4 won't have any quality games til 2015

Which is why Xbox exclusives are generally rated higher and sell better :wow:
