Lavine is 21

Devin Booker has the size & craftiness, but lacks the athleticism of prime Kobe.

I think he can get close, tho. He's a legit 6'6-6'7, can handle the ball, sneaky athletic(not prime Kobe level, tho), and has a mean streak.

If he works on his back to the basket game/fadeaway, he's going to surprise a lot of people with how good he can be.

I think he's tougher than Lavine, to.Higher IQ/better feel for the game.

It feel like a bunch of SG's are short now.
Nah, it's more that after Jordan teams started getting shooting guards who were taller. SGs weren't traditionally that tall pretty much until MJ, but after that you saw all of the shooting guards coming in at 6'6, 6'7, 6'8 even.

All this drip on me
Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum are the only rising prospects with star potential that even have a slim chance and both are likely 6'8 wings/small forwards types rather than sgs on the next level. Both have the talent/2 way potential to at least make things interesting down the road.

Is there anyone in the league currently? No.
Young gifted players with potential like Lavine and Booker's absolute ceiling are more Harden and Klay Thompson(the best 2 guards in the game right now) level of elite, but not surpassing prime Kobe level of elite...

In fact...and they(along with any other young talent in the league) will need a ton of work, polish and improvement moving forward just to reach Harden/Thompson levels let alone actually surpassing Kobe.:patrice:

He didnt play much this year cause of coaching but there's something there about Kelly oubre. Obviously to reach the Kobe level is some all time ability.. But it's hard for me to put a ceiling on how good this kid could be. I'm just shouting him out.

Hes that 6 7" wing. Long arms, athletic, great defender, fearless, has s better handle and three pointer than advertised, fast twitch athlete. Great work ethic.
He's no kobe but I'd keep an eye on him to become a player in this league
