Uh let's see Isaac Hayes, Barry White, Steve Wonder and YES they all produced most of their hits. Really I have no idea why I'm responding to this thread, obvious troll. Yes R. Kelly is a legend but top 10 all time artist, NO and to act like he's the only the nikka making consistent hits for 20 plus years is ridiculous.

I like Kells music too and he, by far, has had a lot of longevity in music.
This would be a better comparison if you compared the singer/songwriter/producers of his era.... and there are a lot of legends so it won't be easy. I will say there isn't one more talented than Prince but you have.......
