i keep trying to listen to this shyt, but it's really like beating a dead horse. i feel like i'm forcing it to grow on me, but there's never any connection. i just continually feel disappointed. one thing this does make me realize is how subjective the personal music experience is. we all know there's lots of hype for Yeezus and Ye' is his own separate entity of hype altogether. i have people that are close to me who really like this album and people who think it's garbage. i personally am a kanye west supporter and have been since day 1. this project was a let down in my book, but this happens to almost every artist at some point in time. i don't mind that Ye' creatively flopped on this, it's just the staggering amount of hype that irritates me. i think i'm just going to delete the album off my phone and act like this didn't happen.
over how genius lyrics like "I put my fist in her like the civil rights sign 
" are every night before bed...musical stockholm syndrome will kick in soon enough
