I think the average black american goes through thoughts that might be considered c00nish which is inevitable given that black's social standings in the US is most negative. Any human will start to doubt themselves or have their self-esteem effected at times when you're constantly bombarded with negativity. The issue is if you internalize it and let it become your persona or if you examine it and put it in the proper context that exists outside of the racism in the United States.

There is a degree and level to this though. I've never went through a phase where I was letting white people call me ****** or tap dancing or anything like that. I will say that at most, that for example when I have personal failures like in school, I occasionally may put them in a racial context and it hurts twice as bad because as a black person you feel you have to go further beyond to prove your worth than others.

Like I said there are degrees to this. I wouldn't say everyone has a phase where they are doing the most c00nish thing around like deferring to others or putting yourself below others because of your race.


Also if the coli has taught me anything, what they consider c00nish varies wildly.

Sorta. I was definitely c00nish in my past but I was also insecure, ignorant of my true history, and simply didn't see how subtle my "disrespect my culture and people" indoctrination process was.

Naw. We're just ignorant up until somebody teaches us or we learn about our heritage and culture as African Americans. I honestly don't think most minorities will ever open their eyes because they're plugged into eurovision. Even some who seem to be liberal or down are still heavily influenced by white propaganda. They do not think their own thoughts. They use narratives the media programs them to repeat. They don't think critically.

Not necessarily a "c00n" phase. Just a phase of "unconsciousness". If you've grown up in America on the tit of patriotism and white supremacy, you can be easily misdiagnosed as a c00n until you have a sense of self and your history. The only thing I find baffling is that you have older black people still unconscious and unaware of their history. That's some skrong as c00ning there.
