Ain't nothin special about Rick Carlisle. He on the spoelstra level to me.
In terms of what he has to work with Thibs is doing very well, they lost a lot of key guys last year in Korver, Osik, Brewer and even John Lucas' goofy ass. Pop is still setting the benchmark though

thibs got the bill belichick about him, where he has the players feeling like once a man goes down, its next man up.
he running deng and jimmy and noah all them minutes cause those his types of players. he need more 2 way players who can lock it down but have sort of offensive game to rely on. with noah its not really his scoring but his facilitating that works in thibs system.
if thibs had a 2 way shooting guard and power forward with a bench that could lock it down he would build a dynasty.

I like thibs man. I know I'm supposed to hate the bulls as a knick fan, but I can't...well I do when we play them, but what they are doing is fukking incredible to me.
Ive been saying that. Give him the worst roster in the league and hed have the fighting for the playoffs.
