Is this a bad time to look for jobs?

So my thinking was with this Corona virus, I can interview for out of state jobs by Skype and other phone/video methods. More companies will be open to these methods because obviously you can't really travel. Also start dates can be pushed back because the process is much slower currently. A lot of people probably aren't thinking about job hunting right now. Maybe I can use this to my advantage.

It's a pretty bad time to hire, but If you really need to eat, then there are jobs at groceries. Tech companies have been doing layoff, so tech isn't safe. Basically essential jobs are hiring.

shyt I was in the midst of looking for a new job now I'm like fukk that. I'm in a steady industry that won't be affected by this whole situation so I'm planning to here for a long time now. Even if I was able to get hired somewhere else I'd be paranoid as hell that they could have layoffs at any time. One of my coworkers that had been with the company 16 years left 5 months ago. Now his new job already had a round of layoffs before this all happened and will likely have a lot more. He's scared as fukk.
