Probably majority of broke transplants moving down there with no plan in place.. just party and bullshyt and then followed by the same oh saying “ I’ll figured it out”

Look , if u broke in Detroit, LA, NY, Chicago, Cleveland, Milwaukee, New Orleans, etc, moving down to Atlanta its going to be the same..

Atlanta already had they own broke natives, u just adding more shyt on top of shyt..

Oh didnt someone just post a thread where Atlanta landlords are raising rent as well :mjlol: … what u influencers, Boss bytches going to do now
At some point we need to stop making fun of Black people for being broke. It's not funny and no one wants to be broke

It’s more so about being naive.

Sadly a lot of broke people really believe it’s a city holding them back when it’s themselves.

Atlanta is not going to just hire you as a financial analyst because you moved down there

This article says it's a 12% increase from last year so yeah that's a lot.

Since then, more than 252,000 evictions have been filed in the 5-county metro Atlanta area, according to Georgia Tech's Eviction Tracker. From January 1 to June 30 of this year, 72,635 evictions were filed, an increase of 12% over the same period in 2022.

Folks want to be in the right in the middle of the city for Section 8 prices.
Since the start of 2023, the five counties at the core of the Atlanta metro area have had a reported 72,600 evictions.
