I would say maybe a couple of grand. It depends on the issue but German automobiles especially luxury ones run a pretty penny.

For parts and maintenance since they consider themselves specialists. If you had time you could get a Japanese car and go rip parts off at a junk yard and install them yourself

Avalons are Toyotas breh.
American cars pre 2011 are shyt that's why you'll find an older Toyota or Honda the same price as a newer Ford or Chevy. As for OP, if you like being stranded on the side of the road and or like having giant holes in your pockets, go ahead and cop that Benz
You can find a nice Camry/Accord shyt even a Jetta for around the same price that will cause you less headaches down the line

Looks like a well kept car but I hope you have money for repairs because old Benz's & BMW's cost a lot to maintain & the reliability for the 2002 C class is horrible!
