OP ignoring my post but this shyt will happen to you

What's even funnier is that the STATE can charge you but so can the insurance company where you got the insurance from as well. shyt's a felony in NY...so you're gonna get hit with two felonies and serve time with killers over fukking car insurance.

Never got caught :ohhh:

But if he ever got pulled over, then he done. He already got his license suspended for a year, but they will revoke it and will do jail time.

These folks offering cash rewards for people who snitch on others who got out of state plates but live in NY :mjlol: but these nikkas still trying to cheat.

The penalty for insurance premium evasion, by any unlawful means, is up to four years in prison. Forging an insurance certificate carries a penalty of up to seven years in premium, and forging documents on a larger scale (ten or more) can land you with a prison sentence of up to fifteen years.

Ok looking to get cheap car insurance for the new year I'm almost done with this fukking car note, me and my boy having this convo, he has a friend that hooks him up with outta state plates and he pays only a 1 time fee.

I'm like aight it sounds ok.

But then he's like well the fee is $1000 and you gotta send him your title to your car im like:

:dahell::what::patrice:

all in the same emotion....

I told him that makes no sense. why would i send someone else my title to my car just so they can send me a rebranded outta state title plus registration, that makes no sense. He like his boy never screwed him. but im like yeah but im liable to get screwed. i never heard of no system like this.

Any of y'all know what this nikka is doing over there needing the title and switching them over to the other state's version???

I heard of people registering their car in jersey with jersey addresses and still living in nyc but this is ridiculous all he would need is a mail with the outta state address right?!?! HOW DOES THIS WORK???

I'm was just on my phone with my dude like:

no disrespect op, but your an idiot if you think this is legit. anybody asking you for the title of your car means that they will legally own it. don't do it. go to the dmv/tag agency in your town and do it the right way.

The saying goes "if it's too good to be true, then it isn't".

Good luck breh

better off listing your address out of NYC...upstate somewhere.
if you have fam upstate, ask them if you can use their address for car insurance.

i wish i did that when i was living in NYC.
Brooklyn car insurance rates had me battered and bruised.

hes not signing it over and giving the title.. hes just sending the original copy.
he probably will lose it plus $1000 and will have to request a duplicate and pay fees for it.

and anyone who won the lottery and didnt let it ruin them dont agree with your saying :usure:

His insurance company is going to want to see proof that he lives there. Which means he has to have some type of utility bill, cell phone bill, etc..to show he actually resides at that address. Even with that proof, the respective insurance company is going to do a policy investigation on the back end to back it up..(don't ever do this if you have property insurance with the same company as well), if they discover that you lied or if there are a lot of vehicles registered to that one address, they'll send a notice of termination and they'll refer to you NY DMV Fraud Bureau and they will be on your ass fast.
