Naw, dawg. If you arent selling furniture or graphics cards, miss me with that shyt. Its one thing to say “support black” and stand on the fact that the prices are out of most peoples brackets, its another to use that tired ass refrain when someone says the prices are high. You can be talking to a completely different consumer who may want your stuff or someone who is sort of on the fence and this is not a selling point.
Two things I dislike: black people constantly trying to get a deal when the product is worth what they are asking, and black people trying to guilt folks into spending half their rent on something most people can’t afford to buy anyway.

People seem to ignore the fact his much bigger company is now in jeopardy because of the tariffs. Him securing a local farmer for a very limited item is just coping with the reality of the market. I guarantee that farmer is not relying on this particular deal for their income.
Reminds me of the book industry, of which I am apart of.
Prior to this administration black or POC books were sol in masse across the US in the education market. Now many MAJOR distributors have filed for bankruptcy because they lost close to 50% of their distribution due to anti-dei policies and federal grants being axed. Baker and Taylor is GONE.
Meanwhile the literal millions of books being sold a year by black authors are now being stonewalled.

The brand concept can still be successful even ilif we didn't have tarriffs across the board. It's not not like theyre price competitive against shirts made from China even in this environment.
