Nah nikka Kobe shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as LeBron :scust:
LeBron's on pace to snatch that man's place in scoring without also having the record for most bricks :scust:
Be propped up as the best scorer of all time and not even be the best at that brehs :scust:

stats don't tell the game. Lebron is a stat whore that doesn't have the gravitas needed to define games. He better play the background and let Kyrie cook or they getting roasted in 5 or less

the media is on currys nuts so hard they're still publishing articles on his fukking daughter

Curry is what a SuperStar looks like (not talking about lightskin but GAME), the fluff pieces should be bestowed upon the best player in the league. Bron just not that good.

Bron is getting older and running out of chances to make his Finals record better. If he gets this one and one next year he's at 4-4 which I think he can live with if that's how it ends. But finishing like 2-6 is not going to be a good look no matter how we spend it. So I think it's on him more then any one other player.

It's big for both teams. Warriors being 73-9 and no chip is a huge L and Lebron losing his 3rd finals is a huge L as well.

:patrice: I point to the NFL on this one:

Football wears down the body so NOBODY is 100% healthy at the end of the regular season.

Obviously more than NBA, but all them games does the same to an NBA players knees and feet. :whew:

Its not uncommon for teams to be in the playoffs or even make it to the Super Bowl with SEVERAL players injured/inactive who they COUNTED oN during the season (not always a QB, but TO comes to mind- and key positions like OL and DL)

With that said, the PATS don't have a * by the title they won in 2004 because they beat a Eagles team where TO played on a broken leg- (they just have a ** for CHEATING) :beli:

Add in, Steph Curry wasnt SUPPOSED to be a STAR. He had ZERO expectations that he HAD to bring champeenships to Oaktown, he JUST DID :sas1:

So clearly bigger for Lebron, who unfortunately does have the HYPE and EXPECTATIONS now more than ever for Cleveland.

Of course GSW want it- but if they lose..after the hurt, its "Hey, we DID win last year, and maybe next year" :manny:

If Cavs lose, after the hurt, its "Hey, we STILL HAVENT WON EVER, but maybe next year" :comeon:

..shyt even he knows he aint going bacc to cleveland if they lose, he just cant SAY it :sas2:

Yall know i speak #FACTS

Nobody cared about Final's records until Skip Bayless brought it up lmao.

The fact Water Pistol Pete is shaping the opinions of people's view on athletes is disgusting.
I've disagreed with you in the past, but this is the biggest issue among sports fans. They let a Jordan Stan/professional troll shape their opinion on someone's quality as a performer. That dummy was out all summer 2007 shouting to anyone who would listen that Mike would have led that cavaliers team to a title when the best player on the team besides LeBron was big z and Mike brown was the coach. By the start of the semester half of the school I was attending was spewing the same garbage opinions. I refuse to believe people were always this stupid.

So yall saying that the Jordan stans on The Coliseum back in 2004, who were talking about Jordan being undefeated in the Finals and Kobe lost to the Pistons, we're just getting that talking point from a person who wasnt on TV at the time?:jbhmm:

Stop it:shaq2:

We've always discussed ring counts & finals losses when it came to Superstar comparisons (even going all the way back to "Russell or Wilt?" convos)...only new age LeBron stans wanna run away from the convo bc it doesn't flatter his resume currently.:sas1:

I guarantee if LeBron was currently 6-0 in the NBA Finals, Bron stans wouldn't let us forget it:sas2:

Pressure is on Lebron.

He won't fall off the earth if he loses, but you gotta figure his brand takes a massive hit.
If it's not clearly Curry's league now, it certainly will be if the Warriors win the series.

The titles in Miami sort of took the loser monkey off his back. And last year's Finals without Kyrie and Love earned him a pass, largely because of the obvious missing teammates but also because Lebron himself played relatively well. He didn't shoot well as the only real option (40% in the finals) but he did go out for 36 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists per game.

I think the Warriors win it in 5, especially if Kevin Love doesn't assert his will. He's got a habit of disappearing in games and was awful in the 1st four games of the ECF. If the Raptors got to him, it could get ugly in Oakland.

The bottom line is

Lebron his first championship at 27, Jordan was 28 when he won his first champion

Lebron was 28 when he won his second, Jordan was 29

so Lebron still has plenty of time to get six rings, since he's not going to retire like jordan.

And also he was already making to the finals at the age Jordan couldn't even get out the east.

Which is why the finals record is laughable in basketball.

The bottom line is Jordan was 30 when he won his 3rd....LeBron was 29 & 30 and was losing in the NBA Finals and we don't know the outcome of him at 31 just yet.

I say that to say 2 things....don't compare his Championship resume to Jordan's because Bron's would never compare, & secondly, Jordan was still winning NBA Championships (already had 3 by 30 years old) while LeBron is still searching for his 3rd ring at 31 years old even though he's had double the amount of attempts than Jordan had (3 for Jordan...6 for LeBron) to do so.
