I saw this the other day on FB and noticed how many women were outraged on it and some of the women blocked OP and blocked anyone who did a 'laugh' reaction to it. Not all women but the overwhelming amount who thought the worst out of it was ridiculous. There was a clear divide amongst men and women for the most part but some women thought it was funny.

Is this what happens on Twitter and on LSA when these topics come up?

It's really a reductio ad absurdam. It's applying it's logic to show the absurdity of it. Clearly they are diff but the logic is valid. It's like It's like when a mom says if all ya friends jump off a cliff are you? It's not comparing transgender to pedophilia. Is saying the argument that a 12 year old knows how to make that decision is absurd.

I guess because woman are more prone to being molested at a young age they prob would not see the humor in it.

I get that some stuff would be too hard to swallow if you actually experienced it. One comedian I listened to talked about how black men died early in their 50s and unfortunately mine did at that age too. I just took it as comedy and not anything meant to be offensive to any one person though.
