And plus I'm certain that the cats serving are not really making any REAL money so they might as well work a legal job soemwhere/anywhere.

in the videos, most of the people they're dealing to are white, and i'm guessing they're not from that community. but i'm not from chicago, so i could be wrong.

you're right

All those white people are most likely from the suburbs, other parts of illinois some of them might even be from out of state (iowa, Indiana etc). This area is right off the Eisenhower so its easy access for suburban kids to get their drugs
EDIT: some might be from other neighborhoods as well

been in that position before where I had to hustle on the block to make a few dollars. shyt is fukking wack, but sometimes, you have to do what you have to do. I used to be at a "drug house" everyday selling and the neighbors knew what was going on ( especially this older lady that lived right next door to the house). On one hand, I felt bad about it ( I have a conscious). On the other hand, I had to make ends meet ( No job prospectives, no college, no ambition). She use to see me running around, hiding stuff around the house, in the bushes, mailbox, knocking fiends out, loud ass music, beer/liquor bottles, hoes, etv and never really was too vocal about it. One day, I was on the porch and a few cop cars were circling the block heavy. At first I didnt pay any attention to it because this particular street was hot anyways. However this day seem too random and I eventually bounced around the way to another spot until the block cooled off. Well to make a long story short they eventually kicked in the door and took my man at the time down for it. Even though I can't prove who snitched or whatever, I knew in my heart that the lady had something to do with it. I didnt hold any ill will towards her for doing it. I knew the consequences for my actions.

Anyhow, I can sympathize with this man for trying to make his community a better place, but this vigilant approach is beyond his control. If you want to help or knowingly have evidence to support your claim let the police handle it ( that is their job right?). To be anonoymous is one thing, to danger the welfare of yourself and your family on youtube is another thing. Cats are losing their lives for less.

Heart warming story. :wow:

I don't know if he's snitching, because drug dealers CAN damage a neighborhood especially since in America people get locked up just for USING drugs.

On the other hand, a well intentioned dealer can use the money that he makes from selling drugs to contribute to community outreach programs, after school programs, and schools. His goons can also act as a sort of informal law enforcement seeing as police are looking at some hoods like

" you're out of your mind if you think we're going there :pachaha:"

And someone who is a drug dealer could have been a fantastic businessman if not for the systemic racism that makes sure that inner city schools are kept in poor shape and so are the apartment buildings and public institutions.

I think its more complex than "is he snitching?" I would say he's a concerned citizen, but chances are his actions will not change anything and will instead just get him killed and make dealers even more sophisticated and harder to catch. Many drug dealers are doing it because they don't have any realistic options. People out here need to eat. Give them options, and they can put their skills to use in a legal hustle.

entrepreneurs? :heh:

en·tre·pre·neur
/ˌäntrəprəˈno͝or/
Noun
A person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on financial risk to do so.

drug dealers aren't entrepreneurs? they aren't assuming financial risk - all kinds of risks, actually - to reap a profit and expand a business that serves a demand?
