Q1 is usually a good hiring time. New budgets are in and projects could be ramping up. I'm having lunch with a recruiter next week and I have an in person interview for this other company next week as well. I hope I find something new by April.

Got a call from Verizon yesterday and had 2 other calls from recruiters last friday morning. I'm not necessarily looking right this minute but am always open to hear what someone has to offer. I like my company but they are struggling to stay afloat even tho the future looks bright with the new platforms we're releasing. But if someone makes me an offer i cant refuse I'm bouncing. By cant refuse i mean + 20K more
Yes. My company just got some big contract that just opened at the beginning of this year so they did a lot of hiring. I'm guessing this is when most companies do the same. Good lets get people working

The one I'm interviewing for I'm hoping to get a $10k increase in pay per year. It's closer to home and it's full-time and they have a good benefits package. The one the recruiter I'm having lunch with is nearly a $20k pay increase but it's only a 6 month contract with no possible extension.
I hope. My next job will have me with almost a stack of disposable income each month.

There are hella postings too. The economy is getting a little better. Companies are a little more confident now.
