yeah. those are rare these days, i have a condo but i'd definitely prefer a cheap small house

although i'm guessing it's not that rare, in that area

Kitchen and bathroom are outdated especially the kitchen and flooring is also outdated. If you have the 25/30k (rough estimate) to update those and still have equity in the house I would say it's worth it.
