Is this NBA finals series going to be like 2010?

It's very possible.

I think the Lakers were more hungry than the Heat though. Kobe and Gasol weren't going to lose to Boston twice after '08. I don't get that same feeling from the Heat. The Lakers in 2010 were motivated by revenge more than anything. The games in Boston were close and you never got that feeling that the Celtics were just outclassing the Lakers. It was just better effort. The Spurs look like they legitimately figured how to neutralize the Heat.

But...the Heat have HCA. And that's huge. The role players will come back. The starts will perform as usual and they're in a familiar environment. Hard to beat.

Basically, 2010 was about revenge and payback for 2008 and the heats don't have that type of motivation to help them. I get the feeling this is either gonna be like the dallas series and they lose in 6 or the pattern will continue ending with the spurs winning in 7.

this is 2011 not 2010

Spurs in 6.

The heat don't have Phil Jackson, or a healthy shooting gawwd like the lakers did.

Instead they have an awful head coach, and the tin man in Lebron James.

lol @ nikkas acting like kobe lead a major comeback or something foh, the difference is that the celtics were known for blowing big leads which they did in game 7 and ron artest among other lakers players hit some big shots, kobe was cold all night

with that said i think its possible the heat can win the next 2 games but it wont happen, spurs in 6 :blessed:

So cold he lead the team in scoring and grabbed 15 boards. The two don't compare, Kobe was going up against one of the greatest defenses in Finals history not slummin out from a lack of skill.

He went 6-24 and 0-6 from 3.. more shot attempts than actual points, yes.. very cold.

So? Still lead in scoring. That was a 100% team win, both sides were playing excellent defense and the more clutch team won. Kobe didn't check out of the game, he didn't become a non-factor and just pass the ball.
