Ain't no point dancing round the issue. I'm noticing a lot of nikkas, especially younger ones are genuinely perplexed when white people show their true colors. As an elder statesman who's been out in this world enough to know how it works it's my duty to school the youngsters even if it hurts their feelings

Wait, what? So are black people showing their true colors by going to these white establishments in the first place because they are generally safer? You can't have it both ways doc. Because once these once mixed clubs, become generally all black. shyt starts to go down. And that's the very reason Black people left to go to those clubs in the first place. I'm not blaming anyone for avoiding clubs that get shot up, or fukkkery happens in general. The whole point is to have a good time.

Or maybe they do depending on where you live in Birmingham 18+ is code for shyt gets cracking, it's the reason why the best mostly black clubs have limits like 25+ nights and 30+ nights. And are you really trying to say why do people assume white clubs are safer ehh...Because White people frequent the establishment. The police response is gonna be totally different at those clubs than at all black clubs.

You can absolutely have black clubs and parties without the bullshyt and drama.

I used to promote upscale parties in NYC.

You have to have a dress code that is enforced. No sneakers, no hats, no coats, no sweats. shyt I did parties that were no jeans allowed meaning we want dress slacks and button up shirts. Women in heels.

You must have an on point security team that stops problems b4 they happen and isn’t scared to throw people the fukk off the line.

You gotta have a dope ass dj that can mix dance music not just thug anthems and popular shyt. People will dance if the music is banging.

You have to have women outnumber men.

I rarely saw an issue when you have a club full of well dressed black folks dancing and enjoying themselves.

For the philly posters think back to how many times clubs like pinnacle/roar got shut down or rebranded? the temple clubs like pattersons/the let out? black clubs got hella turnover on venues but the heavily policed white party areas like south street, manayuk or old city are chill. Somebody gets shot on
Caribbean night at riverdeck every year and that shyt is one day a week for one season a year

Even in college, every single black venue got shut down over the course of a couple years cause of fights.

shyt is frustrating for me just as someone who paid to go, cant imagine how it is for owners

I been in spots in manhattan where i can clearly hear music from artist that come from the same environment im from but i cant party with them .

Its no secret that night life is a highly segregated business.
Now for the real, yes black hip hop night city spots are more prone to violence, hate it or love it but atleast in my city growing up every party was either a stabbing , shooting , or murder. shyt they just closed all the strip clubs in the bronx cuz of all the murders occuring every other month across the street.

Just keep reading the thread. The point was that black people dont understand that white people really don't want them around. Period. Not to party, not to hang out, not at Starbucks, not to live around you. The club owner didn't do this because he was "racist", the increased presence of black people would have made his club lose business. In fact he'd be better off to just pay a settlement and keep his policies, rather than risk losing his customer base and the club permanently.

The sooner black people realize this, the better for rebuilding the community and making economic progress instead of rushing to give our money away to people who dont like us and wont reinvest one cent of that money back into the community.

People who actually get out of the house saw where I was coming from and even gave their own examples of "white nightclub flight". Of course, this being the coli, full of emotional, reactionary, lames who act militant but secretly desire white America's approval and acceptance, I was negged, called a c00n, and even given a warning point.
