It depends on if that Mom is an aint shyt woman.

It doesn't matter the income, either.

An Ain't shyt Woman that becomes a mom will:

fukk up a good son's life. Abuse/neglect him in turn, constantly tell him he ain't shyt like his dad and remind him how much he looks like his dad. Berate him in public, especially in front of other women. Play the victim when said son gets mad and then she'll run to others for "help", because society protects aint shyt women. Especially mothers.

Be the enabler in a bad son's life. Forgive and ignore any wrong doing he does, including to her, will accept his thugging and alcohol and drugs and drama as "manly", will bail him out of jail and fight his babymommas. Will burst with pride and tears when that son plays "Dear Mama" and talks about how much he loves her at social gatherings and family get togethers. Will be the one crying about her "Boy was a good son and ain't never hurt nobody" when the boy ends up with slugs in him.

Will prop up the Aint shyt daughter who reminds her of herself. Will accept her hoe-ish behavior. Will raise her baby after she has it while the daughter "gets her life together". Will plot on other women (especially family members) with her. Will talk shyt about her to other folks and feel justified because she's doing the same. Will break her back to give her every opportunity that the Ain't shyt Mom never worked herself to have.

Will destroy the Good Daughter. Tell her she ain't shyt. Tell her she's gonna be a welfare mom and pregnant. No man wants her. Will be all up in any boy's face that comes around to see the Good Daughter. Will let other men molest and abuse her. Will kick her out if she makes that older man "unhappy".

Why?

Because Ain't shyt Women treat and see males and females the same exact way.

The fact that she's a mom and those are her kids is irrelevant.

She's still an Ain't shyt Woman who happens to be an Ain't shyt Mom.

She'll never be a mother though. She doesn't see her kids as her kids.

With certain families yeah :patrice:But sometimes the mother has a hatred for their sons because they look like their father...shyt happened to me.....

Bout time I was 14, I was sleepin wherever I could :mjcry:

Daaaaamn man. That's fukked up. I know of a crazy lady that killed her baby because he resembled the father. That crazy lady banged her newborn against a radiator because she kept seeing the father in the child's face.

It's true, but not for some HoodRat reasons. It's all about developmental psychology with how parents deal with their individual kids. A mother tends to take a nurturing approach with their sons, while females growing up are at competition with their mother for the male ( usually the husband) attention. It's not in a sexual way, but competition for a emotional connection.

So much anger in that quote.
There really is.
Good thing I'm not a "ratchet" black mother. Smh
The woman who posted it on her ig put "they don't even have to be ratchet" as the caption so obviously she's speaking from her own experience.

I really just wanted an opinion on the subject matter from women with male siblings but I don't believe that type of behavior is limited to "ratchet" black mothers.

This really resonated with me.
I'm sorry, breh. :sad::therethere:

But as for me, I'm the daughter that my parents always wanted after 7 dang boys. They were gonna keep trying till they got me so it's the opposite. Like 4 or 5 of my brothers wouldn't of been here if I came sooner so I don't know what it's like to be treated bad by a parent due to your gender but my brothers could tell you stories for days.

:wow: I'm the winner

It's a gross generalization. Most mothers are close with their son's, it doesn't mean she is trying to make him the husband she never had. This may be true on very few cases but what do y'all want these mother's to do with their sons, act like they don't exist???
