The politically chosen Mt. Rushmore (NOT MY PERSONAL FAVORITES but the correct answers)

Cosby Show (Not my personal fav but it had way too big an impact to write off. Biggest sitcom of the 80s next to Cheers)

Jefferson's (Longest running black sitcom of all time, George Jefferson was Uncle Phil, Geoffrey and Will rolled into one character, not mention GJ was the epitome of black success before the 80s and hiphop rolled in)

Good Times (It was corny at times, hated Florida, JJ's c00nery but too many memorable lines & scenes "DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!" is over 40 years old yet everyone knows were it came from. DYNOMITE, Penny getting beat, ned the wino as black jesus...I liked Sanford and Son better, thought it was more realistic and funnier but it had way less memorable moments and quotes than GT.)

Fresh Prince of Bel Air (I think it was the best black sitcom of the 90's. It had the same humor and tone a lot of 70's shows had and it didn't get overloaded with corniness like some of Martin's episodes)

Same list I made, I even like S&S over Good times. But Good Times had more of a cultural and pop impact. I mean JJ and DYNOMITE was a catch phrase everyone was saying in the 70s. We've all made jokes about Penny getting beat. We know DAMN, DAMN, DAMN. James dying was as memorable as a real relative dying. We even remember when Keith injured his leg trying to get the family out the ghetto.

The only memorable scene in pop culture from S&S was when Grip claimed he was Lamont's real father and Esther went off.
